New home sales strong for Neal Communities in April
Despite declining consumer sentiment among Floridians in April as reported in the latest survey by the University of Florida’s Bureau of Economic and Business Research, home sales at Neal Communities (NealCommunities.com), southwest Florida’s premier, private homebuilder, remained robust.
The Lakewood Ranch-based builder reported a more than 10 percent increase in sales from its March numbers, with 106 new home sales in April. This brings its yearly total to 412 sales.
“While we monitor consumer confidence numbers regularly, they don’t necessarily have a large impact on our sales numbers due to our ability to provide a diverse lineup of home options for a large buying segment,” said Michael Storey, president of Neal Communities. “However, with the record high consumer confidence reading of 99.2 in March, we would expect our April sales to increase. Despite a 3.5-point dip in April, we anticipate sales in southwest Florida to remain strong for Neal Communities, with our dominant market position including an abundance of move-in-ready homes and ideal community locations.”
The homebuilder’s communities in south Sarasota County all notched notable sales last month. Grand Palm, the builder’s master-planned community in Venice, Fla., continued its leading sales position for the builder with 15 new homes sales, and Boca Royale Golf & Country Club in Englewood followed closely with 14 sales. With five new models unveiled recently, the country club community saw increased visitor traffic as well.
The Estuary, Neal Communities’ newest neighborhood in West Bradenton sold 12 homes before its grand opening last weekend. On Saturday, May 6, more than 150 people attended the model and community grand opening at the beautiful new community in Manatee County near the Robinson Preserve.
Other notable neighborhoods included Milano in Venice with 13 sales and Silverleaf in Parrish with seven sales.
Neal Communities south region, which encompasses Lee and Collier Counties, saw 22 sales, with five at Watermark in Fort Myers and four each at Avalon in Naples and Cypress Walk in Fort Myers.
Also in April, Neal Communities moved up two spots to the No. 43 position on Builder Magazine’s 2017 Builder 100: The Top 100 list.

Neal Communities notches notable first quarter home sales
In Lee and Collier Counties, the first quarter of 2017 marked a period of notable sales for Neal Communities (NealCommunities.com), southwest Florida’s premier, private homebuilder, with 81 home sales throughout its south region.
So far in 2017, its south region, which encompasses Lee and Collier Counties, has seen a sales increase of 35 percent.
“Buyers have a lot to choose from in this area,” said Michael Greenberg, southwest Florida regional president for Neal Communities. “The robust southwest Florida home buying market paired with Neal Communities’ commitment to creating communities of distinction, makes Neal a standout builder to potential homebuyers, who are seeing and experiencing the difference.”
According to the Naples Area Board of Realtors, pending sales were up 9 percent in January and the number of closed homes was up 6 percent, compared to a year ago.
Several Neal Communities neighborhoods sold at an exceptional rate this past quarter, including Watermark, Estero Place and Coastal Key. Additionally, three of its communities are nearing closeout. The well-designed community Canopy in Naples has only 10 homes remaining, private and gated Estero Place in Estero has 12 opportunities available and amenity-rich Reflection Lakes in Naples has just seven homes remaining.

Neal Communities donates $10,000 for the fifth year to local Semper Fi nonprofit
Neal Communities (NealCommunities.com), southwest Florida’s premier, private homebuilder, donated $10,000 to benefit the Boca Royale Semper Fi Fund Charity Fundraiser, a local nonprofit organization established by Boca Royale Golf and Country Club residents dedicated to helping its parent organization, the Semper Fi Fund.
Neal Communities has been supporting the event since 2012 and has been a co-sponsor ever since. This year’s Boca Royale Semper Fi Charity Golf Tournament raked in over $300,000 through pledges, direct donations and auction items.
“We are honored to have the support of Neal Communities for the eighth annual Boca Royale Semper Fi Fund Golf Tournament to benefit our nation’s heroes and their families,” said Karen Guenther, Semper Fi Fund president, CEO and founder. “This community has truly taken the Semper Fi Fund under its wing and made us feel like family. We thank all of the participants, generous sponsors and the entire community for your unwavering support.”
The Semper Fi Fund provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post-9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. This ensures that they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities. The Semper Fi Fund has assisted with $143 million in support to more than 18,000 of our heroes and their families.
The 2017 golf tournament and dinner was held Saturday, March 25 at the Boca Royale Golf and Country Club. General James F. Amos, 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps, was the guest speaker. Karen Guenther, president, CEO and founder of the Semper Fi Fund, was also in attendance.
“This year’s event was a huge success,” said Russ Airington, the chairman of Boca Royale Semper Fi Fund. “The Boca Royale community rallied yet again for a wonderful cause. Members of the neighborhood and friends opened their hearts and wallets and combining pledges, donations and auction sales came to over $300,000. Thank you to everyone in the community for their generosity, participation and support.”
Established in 2010, the Boca Royale Semper Fi Fund Charity Fundraiser is an all-volunteer 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization. Since establishing the Semper Fi Fund in 2004, the nonprofit has distributed more than 106,000 grants, totaling more than $120 million in assistance to over 15,000 heroes and their families.
