Neal Communities sells 73 and closes more than 100 homes in September
Neal Communities (NealCommunities.com), southwest Florida’s premier, private homebuilder, sold 73 new homes in September and broke its previous home closing record with 101 closings last month.
Sales took place across Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Lee and Collier Counties. “We experienced a great month to round out an overall strong summer season, and as we head into the end of the year, we expect to exceed 1,000 home sales for 2015,” said Michael Storey, president of the Lakewood Ranch-based new home building firm.
Fourteen of the 73 September sales were inventory homes, ready for immediate occupancy. Currently, the builder is gearing up for “season” and will have more than 50 inventory homes in 20 communities throughout southwest Florida.
September also marked other milestones for Neal Communities, including the three-year anniversary of Grand Palm, an award-winning, master-planned community in Venice. Additionally, the firm’s newest mortgage division, Neal Communities Funding, closed its first home with 10 more expected this month. Also in September, the builder launched new home designs and features at Rivers Reach in Manatee County, broke ground on the new community Villa Amalfi in Sarasota and added five new salespeople to its fast-growing team.
Overall, 2015 has been a record-breaking year for the prolific Florida builder with rapid expansion and 10 new community openings throughout the state. Later this year, Cypress Walk and Oaks of Estero will open in Neal Communities’ southern division and Villages of Milano will debut in the Venice market.
