Neal Communities sponsors 9th Annual Robinson Preserve runs

The area’s largest and most established private builder, Neal Communities (NealCommunities.com), is the presenting sponsor at $5,000 for the 9th Annual Robinson Preserve 5K and 10K on March 31, 2017.

This year, funds raised will benefit Manatee Counties Robinson Preserve for continuing management and improvement at the preserve and Feeding Empty Little Tummies, a nonprofit that founded a backpack program designed to meet the needs of Manatee County’s homeless children during the weekends.

The races, held at the 637-acre Robinson Preserve in Bradenton, showcase a scenic and authentic coastal Florida experience through the remarkable conservation property, with over 110 colorful directional signs and 18 course marshals.

“We are extremely grateful for Neal Communities’ commitment to the community and their sponsorship,” said Kim Bailey, executive director of Feeding Empty Little Tummies. “Manatee County is home to more than 1,800 homeless students. With donations like this from community leaders, we are able to meet the nutritional needs of many homeless students. Without local support, children go 65 hours without nutrition.”

There will be five race corrals based on a participant’s estimated finish time. Registration begins at 3 p.m. with the 5K and 10K beginning at 6:30 p.m. Runners are encouraged to arrive by 5:30 p.m. Following the runs, the Fit2Run after-party event will feature catered food, refreshments, live music and adult beverages. The award ceremony will start at 8 p.m. with crafted awards, including $1,250 in prize money distributed to top three male and female finishers in each race.

Neal Communities promotes two

Neal Communities, southwest Florida’s most experienced homebuilder, recently promoted Carl Allen to an area construction manager and Mark Dolan to a builder.

Allen joined Neal Communities as a builder in July 2013. With over 20 years of extensive construction knowledge, he previously worked for national builders in Florida and constructed large-scale military housing in Kansas.

Since joining the Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder, Allen has built and excelled in Neal Communities’ prominent communities, including Central Park, Milano and Grand Palm. Due to his success, Allen was promoted to a project manager in 2015 and continued to demonstrate his tenacity, leadership and dedication.

In this role, Dolan gained a thorough understanding of managing customer expectations, overseeing repairs and developing customer service techniques, which led to his transition to an assistant builder position in 2015. After several months training, Dolan took on additional construction-related activities and successfully completed several homes for customers.

Currently, Neal Communities employs 264. In 2016, the homebuilder added 97 new staff members to its team.

Neal Communities earns three Parade of Homes awards

The homebuilder’s Bright Meadow model in Daniels Place and White Star model in Coconut Cove each won a Superior Home Award from the 31st annual Lee Building Industry Association’s Parade of Homes.

Neal Communities’ Kendal model in Avalon of Naples earned the Merit Award in the under $300,000 category from the Collier Building Industry Association’s Parade of Homes.

Neal Communities recognizes top sales associates and Realtors with awards ceremony

The area’s largest and most established private builder, Neal Communities, and its firm’s luxury building division, Neal Signature Homes, recently recognized Realtors and the homebuilder’s top sales associates through its second annual Realtor Rewards appreciation dinner.

Held Thursday, March 9, the awards ceremony recognized individuals for their dedication and sales volume.

For Neal Communities, James Archibald took home the Highest Dollar Volume and Highest Units Sold awards. Barbara Price was honored as the Rookie of the Year, and Jackie Polino won Online Sales Consultant of the Year.

Dawn Merrill received the Highest Dollar Volume and Highest Units Sold honors, and JC Godfrey was named the Rookie of the Year for Neal Signature Homes.

Michael Saunders & Company’s Lakewood Ranch office received the Highest Dollar Volume with 14 homes closed at over $4.8 million for Neal Communities. The company’s Main Street office took the top spot in Highest Dollar Volume with three closed homes, totaling more than $2 million for Neal Signature Homes.

Neal notches 100 sales in February

Neal Communities (NealCommunities.com), southwest Florida’s premier, private homebuilder, recorded 100 sales in February, continuing a second solid month for the start of 2017. The builder’s two-month total equals 210 sales, a more than 10 percent increase from 2016.

Neal South, the company’s division covering Lee and Collier Counties, marked 20 sales last month and recently opened Avalon, a new condominium community in Naples.

“With a national focus on tax cuts, infrastructure spending and deregulation, we continue to see a positive real estate market here in southwest Florida,” said Michael Storey, president of Neal Communities. “Furthermore, the continued favorable lending environment coupled with the possibility of impending interest rate hikes make this the perfect time to buy a new home. Our quality inventory with feature move-in ready homes and the option to build a new home from the ground up give buyers plenty of options with Neal Communities.”

Notable neighborhoods with robust sales in February included Milano in Venice with 14 sales and Silverleaf in Parrish with 13 sales. Silverleaf offers 18 home plan options and a variety of amenities, including a recreation center, pool, spa, playground, picnic area, basketball court, two dog parks, walking trails and a nature boardwalk.

Grand Palm, the builder’s master-planned community in Venice, continues to be a popular neighborhood with 13 sales last month. The community features interconnected walking trails, nature paths and a 39-acre lake with an island oasis.

The 1,000-acre gated community of Boca Royale Golf & Country Club in Englewood, is about to unveil five new models this month and reported eight sales in February.

Neal Communities is almost sold out in several communities, including Central Park in Lakewood Ranch with just three move-in ready homes available, Windwood in North Venice with only five homes remaining and Woodbrook in Sarasota with just four opportunities for buyers.

In 2016, Neal Communities broke all of the company’s previous sales records, ending the year with 1,109 sales and 1,129 closings, totaling over $430 million in communities from Hillsborough to Collier Counties and representing a 13 percent increase in closings compared to 2015.

Models open at Boca Royale Golf & Country Club

Neal Communities (NealCommunities.com), the area’s largest and most established private builder, opens five new models on Saturday, March 18 at Boca Royale Golf & Country Club, a semi-private club in a 1,000-acre gated, master-planned community in Englewood.

The new Tuscan and Mediterranean inspired models include three single-family home and two Spanish-style villa designs. The recently introduced floor plans include the Endless Summer 3, Fresh Spring and Sanibel, and the Sandcastle and Tidewinds villas.
